Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 9 August 2026 — Public standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
1. An app for adults only
- Rated 18+ on both the App Store and Google Play.
- Mandatory declaration of majority before the app can be used: without it, there is no access to the service.
- The publisher knowingly collects no data relating to minors. If we discover that a minor is using the service despite these barriers, their presence and data are deleted.
2. Zero tolerance (CSAE / CSAM)
We apply zero tolerance towards any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) and any related content (CSAM). Upon discovery, whatever the source:
- immediate removal of the content concerned;
- exclusion from the service of the device involved;
- reporting to the competent authorities — in France, the official PHAROS platform (internet-signalement.gouv.fr) — and full cooperation with them.
3. What the app's design makes impossible
The best protection is structural: appgreenflag does not contain the mechanisms through which such abuse usually happens.
- No messaging: no one can start a conversation with anyone — there is no chat, no comments, no message exchange of any kind.
- No remotely browsable catalogue: you only see the people physically present in the same place as you, during the moment.
- No gallery photos: the photo on your card is taken live, inside the app — never imported.
- Nothing permanent: there is no lasting profile; cards, photos and greenflags expire and are automatically deleted within hours.
4. Moderation and reporting
- Every photo is automatically checked before publication (detection of sexual content); every text (nickname, greenflags, redflags) is moderated before it becomes visible.
- One-tap reporting is available on every card, along with immediate blocking of the person.
- Reports are treated with absolute priority when they may involve a minor, and kept for 12 months for the security of the service.
5. Compliance
appgreenflag complies with applicable child protection laws in France and in the European Union, as well as with the app stores' child safety requirements (App Store, Google Play).
